Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Vision:

To make quality the defining element of higher education in India through a combination of self and external quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance initiatives.

Objectives:

  1. To arrange for periodic assessment and accreditation of institutions of higher education or units thereof, or specific academic programmes or projects
  2. To stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research in higher education institutions
  • To encourage self-evaluation, accountability, autonomy and innovations in higher education
  1. To undertake quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programmes, and
  2. To collaborate with other stakeholders of higher education for quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance.

Composition and date of establishment: IQAC Cell of ICV College was established on 10/07/2012 and composed with a ten membered team consisting one coordinator, seven teaching faculties, one non Teaching staff, one local representative/ alumni, under the Chairmanship of Principal, ICV College.

Activities:

  • Importance was given on modern ICT based teaching methods with audio visual aids
  • Introduction of smart classes
  • Feedback collection from students and guardians
  • to provide batter library facility
  • Stress was given to NSS and NCC for batter social outreach
  • Faculties were motivated for Research and Training and publications
  • to organise seminar/ workshop/ popular talks
  • Students to be motivated to take part in cultural activities
  • career guidance was given to students time to time
  • Batter documentation of different college activities
  • Parent Teachers meeting was conducted time to time.
